South Jersey Auto Auction Policies & Procedures

Policy & Procedures for Bidding Dealers

  • Bidding hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm every Tuesday. Wednesday until 12:00pm (NOON) SHARP!
    2nd Chance Bidding from 5:00pm Wednesday to 11:00am Thursday.
  • You must register on the web site to access our "Online Bidding".
    Bids are only accepted electronically.
  • Letter of credit from your bank may be required.
  • Fees are as follows:
    • $50 fee added for vehicles won that sold under $500.
    • $100 fee added for vehicles won in bid that sold that for $1,999 or less.
    • $155 fee added for vehicles won in bid that sold for $2,000 and higher.
    Fees should be added to your check, made payable to the "Selling Dealer".
  • All Vehicles are sold "AS IS". SJAA is not responsible for the condition during or after the sale. There is only one area that you will be able to unwind or receive an adjustment: "Title, Speedometer and Odometer discrepancies that are not disclosed on sale day". That's it. You're responsible to check drive train and frame!
  • SJAA is NOT responsible for reports generated by CarFax and AutoCheck.
  • All cars won in bid must be removed and paid for by Friday at 12:00pm. Be notified that you may be charged $25.00 per day after Friday if not picked up. Any sold vehicles left here and abandoned are subject to a citation is the responsibility of the vehicle owner.
  • All bid results will be posted the following Wednesday after the bid on the website.
  • Invoices will be printed for each vehicle sold and must be signed at time of pick-up.
  • Titles, at selling dealer's discretion, can be picked up at SJAA. SJAA does not guarantee the time on Titles. We do our best to expedite receiving it and delivering to our buyers.
  • We ask that when test driving cars you must observe the posted speed limit in the industrial park, which is 25 mph and is related to Esterbrook Lane and Olney Avenue. Please use Springdale Road for higher speeds. We are not responsible for citations issued while on test drives. Any damage done to the vehicle while on the test drive is the responsibility of the driver.
  • The success of this bid relies on everyone involved. This is a service provided by SJAA to benefit both the seller & the buyer. We have over 28 years' experience in the wholesale business and insure the integrity of this bid. Bids are only accepted electronically.
  • All winning buyers will be notified Wednesday. Please do not call us, we will call you. We ask that you use common sense at this facility and follow the procedures that are in place.
  • Any sold vehicles left here and abandoned can be subject to any violation or citation is the responsibility of the owner.
  • SJAA is NOT responsible for typographical errors ,ie.: Year, Make, Model, Color, Mileage & VIN number. Please check these items before bidding.
  • Titles can be picked up on a weekly schedule.

Policy & Procedures for Selling Dealers

  • Selling dealers will supply a good title to the buyers when it has arrived. If there is a payoff, the dealer will make the title available within a reasonable amount of time (Approximately 21-30 days.). The buyer does have the right to ask for an adjustment or return the vehicle to the seller after 30 days if the title is not produced. If there is a brand or disclosure on the title, the dealer will notify SJAA. SJAA is not responsible for the delay of titles.
  • Wholesale cars can arrive daily between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Friday, and Monday (no later than 4:00 pm). Cars can not arrive on Tuesday! Saturday drop-offs are allowed with advanced notice.
  • All bid results will be posted Wednesday's at 5:00 pm, on our website (www.southjerseyAutoAuction.com) .
  • You will be called Wednesday approximately 1:00 pm for approvals. We ask that when you are called that you have your inventory list ready.
  • Invoices will be printed for each vehicle sold. These invoices must be signed and paid for before the vehicle is removed from our lot. It is optional for selling dealers to print their own invoices.
  • Titles will be picked up by SJAA and handed out on a weekly basis. We ask that your title Clerk be aware of this and have the titles ready as soon as possible. The faster we can turn titles around, the better your results will be on your inventory.
  • All vehicles are sold "AS IS". There is only one area that you will be able to unwind or receive an adjustment: "Title, Speedometer and Odometer" discrepancies that are not disclosed on sale day. That's it.
  • Any unsold vehicles left here and abandoned may be subject to a citation via the township and/or SJAA, and is the responsibility of the vehicle owner.

    The success of this bid relies on everyone involved. This is a service provided by SJAA to benefit both the seller and the buyer. We have over 28 years experience in the wholesale business and insure the integrity of this bid. When results are called in, we ask that you compare the high bid to the current market. Your floors should be reasonable and set to be sold. We ask that you use good judgment at this facility and follow the procedures that are in place.
